Hackmanite is a rare, sulfur-rich mineral that can change color and glow in the dark. It's a member of the sodalite family and is also known as the chameleon stone.
Hackmanite is usually pink to violet in color, but can also be greyish-white. It can be found in Afghanistan, Canada, Greenland, and Pakistan.
The stone is named after Victor Axel Hackman, a Finnish geologist and professor at the University of Helsinki.
